I guess breeding really will tell

We are presently in the throes of packing to return to the Great White North after 13 years in Tokyo, so blogging will be intermittent with a healthy chance of freaking out.
Thus far in the packing process the slowest part has been the kids sorting of their books into keep vs. get-rid-of piles since each candidate for the get-rid-of pile -- which will go to the local day-care or to the library -- must first be reread, fondled, sniffed and otherwise examined. I guess they really do have more than just my nose  and eyebrows in the genetics department.

You have a beautiful family. You have clearly been through it before, but now your family will embark on an adventure to a whole new world. I wish you a safe journey, and dispite the tears of leaving many behind, many ahead of you are here with open arms.

Gorgeous. I hope the move goes smoothly and there are no favorite books left behind!

Let me join the chorus in praise of your lovely, book-loving family. I hope we (Canada) will be worthy of them.

What a handsome family! We're looking forward to your return. All the best wishes on moving, which is hard enough and exceptionally difficult when making the transcontinental move.

Dear Mr. Reverend Paperboy, Sir:

I would invite you to my place for dinner, but I still don't got no dining room (or kitchen, for that matter). However, I am that weird guy who takes trips from time to time... Best wishes to you and your family.
