TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Minuteman border watch leader Chris Simcox has a message for President Bush: Build new security fencing along the border with Mexico or private citizens will.
Simcox said Wednesday that he's sending an ultimatum to the president, through the media, of course - ``You can't get through to the president any other way'' - to deploy military reserves and the National Guard to the Arizona border by May 25.

The Washington State Human Rights Commission is holding a forum on border vigilantes tommorrow evening in Bellingham. Simcox is planning to attend to support the local Minutemen in their efforts to maliciously harass day laborers and to threaten groups like the Quakers who are monitoring their activities.
Nice to see Bush is standing up to the lunatic fringe (Not!) I understand the government is now going to build a series of fences along the border and is sending in the national guard. You think if I sent him five bucks and the instructions on how to do it, George W. could go out and buy a three foot piece of 2x4 and bolt it to the place most people have spines?
